unExplored Jamaica
When you have four kids, it is really hard to get away. So when you carve out some time to go with your beautiful wife to an island, all you want to do is relax and enjoy each others time like before we had kids. We have such a short window to be away, you can’t do day-trips or excursions.
When I travel, the explorer in me always wants to get out and see how the average person in that area lives. So that’s exactly what I did. I woke up at 6 AM one morning. I hired a driver, and off we went into the city of Montego Bay with a camera and two lenses. I stood out like a soar thumb, I was the only white guy for miles. And I was pointing a camera at them. So this certainly wasn’t uncover photojournalism.
