So I recently visited Napa and Sonoma, and to say I was smitten is an understatement. The place is breathtaking and I caught myself envisioning  places to pose hypothetical brides and grooms on the drives to different wineries and in the vineyards once we arrived. But to be honest, this was a trip for my amazingly beautiful wife and I, so I tried to put down my camera, and focus on her beauty. Since it was two years since we last got away.

So I didn’t take many photos, but I did include a handful since this is a photography site. But more importantly, I’m giving out my recommendations if you plan to visit Napa or Sonoma.

Napa

First and foremost hire Kent or Laurie at Squire Livery to drive you around the wine country.  They will arrange private tastings for you. It’s definitely the only way to go. And you won’t get a DUI! Win, Win.

My Favorite winery was Korbin Kameron

This place was perched on the hills of Napa and Sonoma. Off the beat and path, but so worth the drive. The views, the wine, the people. Life changing experience. It’s a must. Ask for Mitchell!

Best Tasting Poseidon Vineyard

Poseidon Vineyard is in the Carneros region of Napa. The intimate tasting was in the middle of the vineyard at a small picnic table all by ourselves. The wines are amazing. And if you like Pinot Noirs, this place should be a must on the to do list.

Biggest Surprise Ledson Winery

Great Reds across the board. Can’t go wrong here. Great experience. But we did almost got hit by a drone.
